BONIDE® Mosquito Beater® WSP is provided in a water-soluble pouch to be placed directly on the surface of the water to be treated. Lower rate (1 pouch (0.2 ozs)/50 sq. ft.) can be used in clear water, against low larval infestations or young larvae (from egg hatch to mid-third instar). When larger larvae (late third instar to early fourth instar) predominate, larval populations are high, or water is polluted and/or algae are prevalent, use the higher rate of 2 pouches (0.4 ozs) per 50 sq. ft. The following table can be used as a guide for determining how much BONIDE® Mosquito Beater® WSP to use in a particular situation.
